Hello
I'm a freelance illustrator based in London. I'm originally from Germany and I moved to England in
2001 to complete my animation/illustration course. Over the past 5 years I've illustrated a lot of
picture books, a kids' bible, an award-winning ad campaign and I also contribute to newspapers
and magazines. My 1st illustration job ever was a children's book that I also wrote, called Louis+Bobo.
Most of my work is created in digital collage but I love scribbling on paper and painting on wood
and I'm constantly working on new ideas for kids' books, zines, fabrics, etc., so do get in touch if you
want to find out more...

Random facts
Desert Friends was the name of a mini animation series that I wrote a while ago and I named my website
after it and sometimes I like using it instead of my actual name for credits etc.
Things I love include licorice, Dr Pepper and the colour green, and dogs, raccoons, cats, hand-lettering
and of course, empty and sunny deserts.
